About Stow

Stow is Tricker’s most iconic men’s boot. Made originally as a country boot, but now worn by men all around the world across fields and cities. The Stow Derby ankle boot is instantly recognisable for its brogue patterning synonymous to Tricker’s; however its strong, solid build and seven eyelets make it as recognisable, whilst by no means flashy. A half bellows tongue is folded and attached to the boot to provide a watertight seal, with the storm welt providing an additional waterproof seal between the shoe's upper and sole.

This Edition

Our ‘Lightweight’ sole construction has been used which entails removing the midsole or ‘through’ as it's traditionally known. This removes weight and adds flexibility without compromising on quality or durability. To finish it off we have used a classic leather sole to give a refined traditional look.

For this Autumn / Winter season we have created a special collection using exclusive Olivvia Scotchgrain. Scotchgrain got its name traditionally as it lined scotch whisky barrels which made it extremely strong and long lasting, it is visually recognisable because of the deep grain in the leather, generally giving shoes and boots a robust, textured aesthetic. Olivvia tanning is gentle and therefore the hides remain supple and often feel worn in from the first wear.

Olivvia Leather is exclusive to Tricker’s and is tanned using Olive leaves, this is fully sustainable and every piece of waste in the process can go back into the land. You can rest assured that Olivvia is truly sustainable, exceeding every standard set by those who created the tanning liquor. Tricker’s is honoured to be the only shoemaker in the world using Olivvia leather.

This classic dark brown colourway is perfect for all occasions.
