Daniel Tramping Shoe - Lightweight
Daniel is the name given to our original ‘Tramping Shoe,’ a style which was traditionally made for expeditions and pursuits. This classic 4 eyelet derby shoe is minimalist in its design but different from similar styles such as Robert due to its more robust appearance.
Our ‘Lightweight’ sole construction has been used which entails removing the midsole or ‘through’ as it's traditionally known. This removes weight and adds flexibility without compromising on quality or durability. To finish it off we have used a British Commando Sole which is perfect for varying terrains and weather whilst ‘easier’ on the foot when paired with our lightweight sole construction.
The upper has been created in Repello Suede, perfect for comfort and style whilst being durable - these hides have been treated with a guard during tanning to provide resistance to staining. Our rich autumnal colours are perfect for the season.
This Flint colourway is a beautiful tone sitting between grey and brown.
Built to Last
Each and every pair of Tricker's is handmade within our Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. There are 260 processes used to make each pair from start to finish.
Our uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and use of honest materials, are values that have been preserved and developed through five generations and are observed as resolutely today as they were in 1829. When you choose Tricker’s, you never have to choose between practicality, durability and style.
Tricker’s shoes are worn by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.
