Rex Apron Derby Shoe - Lightweight
A classic Apron Derby Shoe that is typically ‘Trickers’ in its robust appearance. Rex has a multi panel upper and the classic apron shoe toe piece which runs down the front to meet side panels with an outward facing hem to give a small wedge.
Our ‘lightweight’ sole construction has been used for this edition which entails removing the midsole or ‘through’ as it's traditionally known. This removes weight and adds flexibility without compromising on quality or durability. To finish it off we have used a British Commando Sole which is perfect for varying terrains and weather conditions whilst ‘easier’ on the foot when paired with our lightweight sole construction.
For this season we continue to use Muflone, a deeply grained leather that has been dried in drums for softness and texture. The result is a finish that has a lovely finish, perfect to highlight the characteristics of a true pair of Northampton shoes.
This take on our classic ‘Acorn’ colour is full of texture and personality provided by the deeper grain. Each pair is therefore slightly unique and has a certain ‘worn in’ appeal classically achieved through lots of wear.
Built to Last
Each and every pair of Tricker's is handmade within our Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. There are 260 processes used to make each pair from start to finish.
Our uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and use of honest materials, are values that have been preserved and developed through five generations and are observed as resolutely today as they were in 1829. When you choose Tricker’s, you never have to choose between practicality, durability and style.
Tricker’s shoes are worn by H.R.H. The Prince of Wales.
