About Bernwood

Logger boots are designed to be worn by workers in the logging and forestry industry, hence the name. They are used to work through forests, brush, woodland, and other types of undergrowth, and to aid in any climbing needed.

The style is finished off with brass eyelets and cream Barbour welt and Dainite sole.

The blend of stylish finish with rugged functionality encapsulates the individuality of the Tricker’s wearer.

We have reinvigorated the Bernwood boot with a brand-new leather and stylish finishes in Black, Whisky and Blackberry.

Leather Information

We have chosen a new leather called hydro nubuck which is tanned using a special weatherproof treatment, this means you can really get caught out in the April showers and your feet will remain dry.

The blend of stylish finish with rugged functionality encapsulates the individuality of the Tricker’s wearer.

This high-quality European side leather has a water-resistant tannage. Oil impregnated this offers a high level of weather resistance without compromising on the beautifully soft nature of the skin

Like most water repellent leathers they are not designed for walking through water however in rain they should cope very well.

We advise letting these shoes dry naturally and then brush off any loose dirt with soft suede brush.

Built to Last

As with all of our shoes and boots, each pair of Bernwood boots are handmade within our Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. There are 260 construction processes used to make each pair from start to finish.

Our story is one of uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and use of honest materials, which are values that have been preserved and developed through five generations and are observed as resolutely today as they were in 1829. When you choose Tricker’s, you never have to choose between practicality, durability and style.

Since 1989, Tricker's has held a Royal Warrant for shoe manufacturing awarded by His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales.
