Simon Longwing Brogue Boot
About Simon
Simon is a Longwing brogue, also known as “American” brogues are characterised by wings that extend the full length of the shoe, meeting at a centre seam at the heel.
We have reintroduced this style using a C.F Stead waxy suede, with brass eyelets, cream Barbour welt and British made Dainite sole to give a more casual feel to the shoe.
The Dainite studded sole is one of the most widely known and used products, with its original design as valid today as it was in 1910. It provides grip and comfort in all conditions while not attracting or storing dirt as there are no cleats or heavy grooves to hold it.
Simon is a brand-new boot added to the range and is available in Peanut & Ridge waxed suede uppers.
Leather Information
C.F Stead waxy suede is a traditional heavy weight “Hunting Suede” or reverse suede.
It offers a characteristic rough, casual suede with a completely natural full grain on the reverse, which is provided oiled and waxed to provide a high level of weather proofing.
This offers comfort and durability, and the waxed suede can be readily brushed and re-waxed to restore the original look after heavy wear.
Built to Last
As with all of our shoes and boots, each pair of Richard shoes are handmade within our Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. There are 260 construction processes used to make each pair from start to finish.
Our story is one of uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and use of honest materials, which are values that have been preserved and developed through five generations and are observed as resolutely today as they were in 1829. When you choose Tricker’s, you never have to choose between practicality, durability and style.
Since 1989, Tricker's has held a Royal Warrant for shoe manufacturing awarded by His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales.
