Leather Information
Our ‘lightweight’ sole construction has been used for this edition which entails removing the midsole or ‘through’ as it's traditionally known.
After several seasons of working in partnership with Wet-Green (the creators of Olivenleder) and Weinheimer Tannery (who create our exclusive Olivvia Leather) we have now created our classic Acorn Calf using the vegetable tanning process as part of our mission to ensure of sustainability.
This collection is and extension to our pervious Olivvia classic range which was in black and espresso and uses a Vibram Vi-Lite sole to give a rugged commando sole look whilst being extremely lightweight and cushioned.
Olivvia Leather is exclusive to Tricker’s and is tanned using Olive leaves, this is fully sustainable and every piece of waste in the process can go back into the land. You can rest assured that Olivvia is truly sustainable, exceeding every standard set by those who created the tanning liquor.
Built to Last
Each and every pair of Tricker's is handmade within our Northampton factory in England by craftsmen and women using traditional methods, and to the same exacting standards that first established our reputation. There are 260 processes used to make each pair from start to finish.
Our story is one of uncompromising standards of craftsmanship and use of honest materials, which are values that have been preserved and developed through five generations and are observed as resolutely today as they were in 1829. When you choose Tricker’s, you never have to choose between practicality, durability and style.
