Tricker’s believe in social and economic sustainability. We employ local workers, which reduces transport miles, we use local suppliers wherever we can, and we try to ensure that we’re continuing to grow the local community.
This extends to the partners that we work with and, wherever we can, we aim to work alongside partners based in the heart of England’s shoemaking capital: Northamptonshire.

Spring Line produce all of the lasts used by Tricker’s. Based in Northampton and founded in 1982 by Kenneth Tipping and Bill Saunders, they are now the only remaining last manufacturer in Britain.
SilverDisc is a team of marketers, strategists and engineers based in Northamptonshire, who support all digital aspects of Tricker’s marketing strategy. Working in partnership with Tricker’s leadership, they ensure that the Tricker’s brand is brought to life around the world.
James Ward Films
James Ward Films is a film production house specialising in cinematic brand films and documentaries. Recently they’ve been helping us to tell the story of Tricker’s, our products and our rich 190-year history.
The Harboro Rubber Co. LTD
Dainite soles and heels are made in Market Harborough by Harboro Rubber C.Ltd. Using processes proved and refined over a century, the various styles included in the range are premium and trusted products which are all affixed using the Goodyear welt method.
E. A. Tailby Ltd
First established in 1902 by Edward Albert Tailby, E.A. Tailby has been handcrafting leather footwear components for over one hundred years. Still operated by the Tailby family, they are a key supplier to many of Britain’s most prestigious and luxury footwear brands.

Charles Ward Photography is a digital photography specialist. Producing all of Tricker’s website product images since launch in 2015, and supporting in lifestyle campaigns used for our social media.
Chalco Stamp & Die Co.
Formed in 1996, Chalco Stamp & Die Co. is a manufacturer of metal stamps and dies. Everything they produce at the workshop is finished by hand and nothing is mass-produced. They use traditional methods and very little of the work relies on computerised solutions
Wood Ash Press Knives Ltd
Founded in 1973, Wood Ash manufactures steel press knives, working from customer’s own templates or designs. They also provide a pattern grading service and supply cutting boards and offer a re-surfacing service.
Paradise Computing is a Northampton based IT solutions partner who provide Tricker’s with ERP, cloud hosting, software development and IT helpdesk support. Embracing a modern connected workplace enables us to build on our tradition of quality and service by future-proofing our brand heritage.
A family-run business with over 100 years’ experience specialised in manufacturing boxes and specialist presentation packaging, as well as jigsaw puzzles and board games. All of their products are manufactured in Northamptonshire.
Penny Bags manufacture and personalise cloth bags. They have been working with their customers for over 25 years to produce and customize bags to protect their shoes and leather goods. The entire production is made to order in Leicestershire.
Frecknall is a supplier of components to the footwear manufacturing industry, established in 1897. Offering a very wide range of products, they play an important part in the British Footwear Industry.
