Tricker’s are authentic Northampton shoes crafted by those who live and breathe shoemaking in our factory in the old shoemaking district; you will not find more skilled craftspeople.

Whilst the distinctive look of Tricker’s country shoes and boots are often imitated, they remain the originals, unrivalled in quality, style and character.

67 Jermyn Street, in the heart of St James’s, has been Tricker’s home in London since 1938.

In that time, our friendly, helpful and expert staff have welcomed hundreds of thousands of customers through our doors, and sent them out delighted with what we believe are the finest handmade boots and shoes in the world.

Make sure you pay us a visit when you are in London.

As a celebration of our 190th anniversary in 2019, a new store was opened in Tokyo, Japan.

It is situated in the Aoyama district of Tokyo, modelled on our famous Jermyn Street Flagship store. Japan was the natural choice for the new – and only other – store, as Tricker’s has been extremely popular in Japan for over 30 years.

When in Tokyo, be sure to visit the newest addition to the Tricker’s family.

Our belief in the importance of export is why Tricker’s is honoured to be part of the UK Government’s Department for International Trade GREAT Britain campaign - promoting British culture abroad and flying the flag for the Northampton shoe industry.

Over that last 30 years, export has been essential to support our growth and offer us the chance to invest in our company. From advancing our workforce to developing new footwear designs, international success has given us these opportunities.

2019 is a very special year for Tricker’s as we celebrate our 190th anniversary as England’s oldest shoemaker. We were extremely proud to welcome HRH The Prince of Wales to our Northampton shoe factory to unveil our commemorative plaque. Tricker’s has held a Royal Warrant with Prince Charles since 1989 and his visit highlighted The Prince of Wales’ continued support for British craftsmanship and manufacturing.
