Margaret first worked with Tricker’s on men’s shoes in the 1980s, this is the first pair designed for women in 2003.
“ When I began designing, I wanted to make clothes in quality fabrics that were designed to be comfortable and to wear well and to last. In 1980 I first visited the Tricker’s factory in Northampton.
I felt their attention to detail, their pleasure and pride in the hand and machine making of their shoes resonated closely with my own approach to design.
